Redmi TV range to be launched in India soon, company tees

Redmi TVs will soon enter India, which was disclosed by Xiaomi India Managing Director and Global Vice President Manu Kumar Jain during the Redmi Note 10 Series virtual launch event on Thursday. Let us tell you, the company has launched the range of Redmi TV models in China last year. However, the Redmi brand currently covers only smartphones, power banks, audio, accessories and wearables in India. Apart from announcing the arrival of Redmi TV in India, Manu Kumar Jain also announced the separation of the Redmi brand from the Mi brand.

Xiaomi showed a teaser at the end of the Redmi Note 10 series launch, which announced the arrival of Redmi TVs in India.

Manu Kumar Jain said, “Last year, our Redmi brand took a big step with entry in the new category.” He said the event “We started our phone-plus statics and launched products under many new categories like power bank, TWS and fitness band etc. At the same time, we are proud to present something bigger this year in 2021! “

The first TV launched by Xiaomi under the Redmi brand was the Redmi Smart TV 98-inch, which was launched in China in March last year. The Beijing-based company later expanded its Redmi TV portfolio to launch Redmi Smart TV X50, Redmi Smart TV X55, and Redmi Smart TV X65 in May. This catalog expanded with the Redmi Smart TV A Series and the Redmi Smart TV A65.

Recently, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Max 86-inch Ultra HD TV last month, with which the Redmi K40 series smartphone was introduced.

Xiaomi has not given any information at this time about which Redmi TV models will be launched in the Indian market. However, it can be expected that the curtain will be lifted soon from the information related to it.

It is also necessary to mention here that Xiaomi has introduced TVs under the Mi TV lineup in India, which competes with new brands in the market such as TCL and Vu as well as brands like Samsung, LG and Sony.
