Sister company Dacia of France’s well-known automotive company Renault has launched the Spring Electric car in Europe, which is a Kwid’s rival in India. Although the new car is electric. The car is quid-like in appearance. A similar car has been launched by parent company Renault in China under the name City-KZE and in India also the company is reported to be launching an electric car in the near future. It is believed that the company can launch its electric car in India in 2022. However, no official confirmation has been given by Renault on this.
The Dacia Spring can run 305KM in a single charge. The company has given 27.4kWh capacity battery in it. According to Dacia Spring’s WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure) test, its range is 230KM. At the same time, its WLTP City range is 305KM. The car’s motor can generate 125Nm torque and 44PS power.
