Samsung Galaxy A72 4G may be equipped with Snapdragon 720G chipset, specifications leak

The Samsung Galaxy A72 has reportedly been spotted in the new Geekbench listing, which suggests that the 4G variant of the smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset. A recent report claimed that the smartphone will be launched in both 4G and 5G variants. Rumors also suggest that the smartphone will have a quad rear camera setup, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Some renders of this handset shared by Tipster were also leaked recently, which saw flat hole-punch cutouts.

According to the listing on Geekbench, a Samsung phone with model number SM-A725F, believed to be the Galaxy A72 4G, may come with 8GB of RAM and Android 11. The phone got 526 and 1,623 scores in single-core and multi-core tests respectively. Apart from this, the phone has been listed with a Qualcomm processor, named ‘atoll’. It is paired with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset.

The Geekbench results of the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G are quite similar to the Galaxy A52 4G, which was also seen recently on the benchmarking website with the Snapdragon 720G chipset.

The Galaxy A72 may be equipped with a 4G quad rear camera setup, which will have a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The alleged renders of the smartphone were also leaked by tipster Steve aka OnLeaks. They feature Samsung handsets with flat displays and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera in the middle. A quad rear camera can also be seen in the render.
