Samsung Galaxy M42 may be launched in India soon, more information leaked

The Samsung Galaxy M42 could be the company’s next offering in the Galaxy M-series. While Samsung has not yet revealed any information about the new model, the Galaxy M42 battery has received certification from the 3C Certification Agency of China. According to a report, the battery with model number EB-BM425ABY has also been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The BIS certification can be seen as a hint towards the Samsung Galaxy M42’s India launch. The new smartphone is expected to get 64-megapixel primary sensor.

Tipster by the_tech_guy Tweet According to the 3C listing, a battery with model number EB-BM425ABY has received certification, which has a capacity of 5,830mAh. This suggests that the Samsung Galaxy M42 may have a 6,000mAh battery.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the same battery has also been spotted on India’s BIS certification, along with information on its certification on the 3C website. Apart from this, it has also been allegedly certified by the European inspection company DEKRA.

The BIS certification suggests that the alleged Samsung Galaxy M42 could make its way into India. However, Samsung has not yet given any information about the India and global launch of this phone.

In late September, SamMobile reported that the Samsung Galaxy M42 will launch with model number SM-M425F. The smartphone is expected to have 128 GB of onboard storage and will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
