Samsung to launch new product on September 23, Galaxy S20 FE expected

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is expected to be launched on September 23 this month. Samsung has held a virtual event called “Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan” for 23 September, where the Galaxy S20FE aka Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is expected to be launched. The upcoming smartphone was initially rumored to be launched as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite, which will be the tone-down version of the flagship S20 series. Thus, you will be able to experience the company’s top-end smartphones at a lower price with few agreements. However, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will come with specifications similar to the Galaxy S20 series to give a flagship-like experience.

The invites for the ‘Samsung Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan’ event posted on the Samsung Newsroom website, did not provide information about which product the company is going to launch. Nevertheless, the company says that the event is exclusively for its Galaxy fans. This indicates the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S20FE aka Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.

Samsung will host the event on September 23 at 10 pm ET (7:30 pm in India) through the Samsung Newsroom site and its social media channels including Facebook, YouTube. The company may also put some teasers before launch.

Last week, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was listed on Samsung’s official site in the Philippines ahead of its official launch. Much was made clear by the pictures of the phone included in this listing. The phone’s color options and storage options were also revealed from the listing. The product page was not fully updated, so the specification was not confirmed.

Previous reports suggested the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner, 6.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display and Snapdragon 865 chipset on the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G model. Its 4G model has been said to work on the Exynos 990 chipset. The phone will include 6 GB of RAM and the triple camera setup may include two 12-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel camera sensor. At the front, the phone can be given a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The battery capacity can be 4,500mAh and it can come with a 15 watt charger. To protect the phone from water and dust, the company can offer IP68 protection in it.
