Specifications of Realme GT Neo 2 surfaced, may be launched in special green variant

The Realme GT Neo 2 has reportedly been spotted on China’s 3C certification site, revealing its fast charging technology. New official-looking renders of the smartphone have also surfaced online, which points to the color options available for the smartphone. Also, a recent leak suggests that Realme may partner with Mercedes-AMG for a special green color option for its GT Neo 2. Earlier this week, Realme confirmed via a post on Weibo that it will be launching the GT Neo 2. But not much information was disclosed at that time.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the upcoming Realme smartphone has reportedly been spotted on China’s 3C certification site with model number RMX3370. While the alleged Realme GT Neo 2 listing doesn’t show much, it does have details of 65W fast charging support and 5G connectivity.

New official renders of the Realme GT Neo 2 surfaced online earlier this week by Steve Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks) and GizNext. The design of the smartphone is similar to what Hemmerstoffer himself shared earlier. The new renders reveal that the GT Neo 2 could be offered in a Blue color option along with the Black color option shown earlier.

A recent leak on Weibo suggests that Realme and Mercedes-AMG may partner together to bring a special edition version of the Realme GT Neo 2. The leak suggests that the smartphone could be given a green color option which is similar to that of the Mercedes-AMG GT R.

Realme GT Neo 2 specifications (expected)

One of the tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) Tweet earlier this week hinted that the Realme GT Neo 2 phone could come with Android 11. The smartphone is also expected to feature a 6.62-inch full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Its alleged triple rear cameras could include 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors in addition to a 16-megapixel sensor for the selfie camera. It is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery.
