Tesla Cybertruck, which runs 800km in a single charge, gets bookings of about Rs.6 lakh crore

Tesla introduced its electric pickup truck Cybertruck to the world in 2019. At that time it was shown as a truck concept. While the company’s CEO Elon Musk has already indicated that Cybertruck will take more time to hit the streets, on the other hand, the company is still taking pre-bookings for Cybertruck. The Tesla Cybertruck Electric Vehicle has been getting a tremendous response since the announcement. Now, a latest data shows that Cybertruck has received over 1.2 million reservations, which are valued at $80 billion (approximately Rs.5.96 lakh crore).

This number of bookings of Cybertruck is not official. Electrek, an online Cybertruck reservation tracker that tracks electric car news, said that this electric SUV car has got 12,70,000 reservations. Let us tell you, according to this tracker, by the end of May 2021, this car had received more than 10 lakh bookings. There are three models of the Tesla Cybertruck and according to the tracker, its dual motor and tri motor models have received the most bookings. Taking into account the average price of these two trims of Cybertruck, i.e. $58,000, the Cybertruck worth $80 billion has been booked so far.

The dual motor trim of the Cybertruck can cover a range of around 483 kms on a single charge and can accelerate from 0-97 kmph in less than 4.5 seconds. Its top speed is 195 kilometers per hour. Because it is an electric pickup truck, it also has great towing capacity. The company claims that it can pull up to 10,000 pounds (4536 kg).

At the same time, the Tri Motor Tri can cover a distance of 800 km on a single charge and has a top speed of 210 km per hour. This trim can accelerate from 0-97 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.
