Xiaomi has announced its brand new and unique wireless charging technology through its blog post. This transmitter looks like an air purifier, which people can place in any corner of their house. It can charge many of your devices simultaneously. The interesting thing is not to place your device on top of any pad, but you can charge it while living in any corner of your house or using the device. According to Xiaomi, the transmitter can charge the phone with a 5 watt output.

The blog further states that this technology has nothing to do with the Qi Standard. For this, the smartphone should have ‘Beacon Antenna’ and ‘Receiving Antenna Array’. Currently, this transmitter can charge multiple devices simultaneously with 5W current. Exact information about what the charging range will be has not been given, but it has been reported that the devices can be charged even at a distance of several meters from the transmitter. Apart from this, Xiaomi claims that if there are any physical objects between the transmitter and the device, then the charging output will not be affected.

Xiaomi says that in the coming time, Mi Air Charge technology will also support smartwatches, fitness bands and other wearables. The exact date of the official launch of this system has not been shared at the moment. An official of Xiaomi on Twitter cleaned Is that the company will not launch this technology in the market this year. However there is no doubt that this unique technology will not be economical in its initial state.
