TikTok Permanent Ban with 58 Apps in India!

59 Chinese companies, including TikTok (Tittock), WeChat (WeChat), have been banned in India. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) banned these apps last year. These apps were banned in India in June 2020. Now according to the report, it is being said that this ban on these apps has become permanent. Earlier sources had told Gadgets 360 that the government had sought feedback from all the apps companies after the ban, how they were using the data users they were collecting. However, now it seems that the government is not satisfied with the response given by the companies. According to the report, the government has issued a notice to the companies last week.

As such, it is not good for apps that were banned in India last year. In India, this number of ban apps has crossed 200. PUBG Mobile was also banned in India in this episode. However, since then this company is preparing to return to India. The company is preparing to launch its India only version PUBG Mobile India in India. The company has also hired for this in India afresh. But it was learned through RTI that MeitY has not given any permission to relaunch the game in India.

In such a situation, response of MeitY shows that there is no hope of launching this game in India right now. However, it is not clear what the impact will be on the jobs of more than 100 people working for ByteDance after this decision. However sources have told Gadgets 360 that the people working in India were retained after the ban on the game in India and he was playing his role in the global operation. However, after the permanent ban, what will be the effect on people’s jobs, nothing can be said on this.

A TikTok spokesman told Mint that, we are evaluating the notice and we will respond to it in a proper manner. We are trying to follow the law rules with the Government of India. For us, the privacy and security of users is at the top priority.
