TVS has sold a total of 355 units of iQube in March 2020, while 90 units of Bajaj Chetak electric scooter have been sold on the other hand. There is a big difference between the two. Both electric scooters are currently being sold in select cities in India. TVS has also recently launched iCube in Delhi after Bengaluru. At the same time, Bajaj initially started booking this scooter in Pune and Bangalore and recently the company has also promised to start booking iQube in Hyderabad and Chennai soon.
Let’s talk about the price of iQube Delhi. Although the scooter is priced at Rs 1,36,077 (ex-showroom), being an electric vehicle, the FAME scheme and the state government are also giving additional subsidy on the scooter, after which it will be sold in Delhi for Rs 1,08,012 ( Onroad) can be purchased at a price. At the same time, the price of Bajaj Chetak Electric starts at Rs 1,42,620 (ex-showroom) in Pune. It also has an expensive variant, which costs Rs 1,44,620 (ex-showroom). Recently, the company had increased the price by Rs 27,620. This price has increased. The company says that by 2022 the scooter will also be brought to 24 other cities of the country.
Let’s look at some specifications. The TVS iQube electric scooter comes with a 4.4kW electric motor. The company claims that this scooter can give a range of 75 km in a single charge. The top speed of the scooter is 78Kmph. It has a lithium-ion battery of 2.25kWh capacity. The scooter comes equipped with many modern features and its instrument cluster supports GPS / navigation and mobile connectivity.
On the other hand, Bajaj Chetak 4.08kW capacity motor is available. There are two modes in it. The range in Eco mode is 95Km and in high-performance mode the range is reduced to 85Km. Its top speed is 70Kmph. The digital instrument cluster is also available in this scooter, which supports GPS / Navigation and mobile connectivity.
