US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account unlocked, video message released

US President Donald Trump made a comeback to Twitter via a video. He has stated in the video that Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States. Earlier, the social media company Facebook, Instagram, Twitter had indefinitely banned Donald Trump’s account. Facebook’s head Mark Zuckerberg said the decision was taken because of his efforts to promote violence in the US capital. At the same time, Twitter and Instagram had also closed Trump’s account on their respective platforms. The reason behind this was given that Trump’s messages could further provoke violent protests.
Twitter, however, has re-unlocked the @realDonaldTrump Twitter account. Let me tell you that Donald Trump has 88 million followers on Twitter. Returning to Twitter, Trump has shared a video stating that his focus is on transferring power to elected President Joe Biden. This post was viewed by 14 lakh people in 15 minutes.

When the US Parliament confirmed Biden’s victory on Wednesday, Trump supporters surrounded the US Capitol and vandalized there. This was followed by violent clashes between the police and supporters there. 4 people lost their lives in this violence. Trump has also strongly condemned the violence in his video. However, Trump’s account on Facebook and Instagram is still blocked.
