Very close to the launch of the feature that uses WhatsApp on multiple devices simultaneously

Information about the WhatsApp multiple device feature has been revealed in many old reports, the purpose of this feature is to allow users to use the same WhatsApp account on four other devices. According to the latest report, this feature is now in its final testing stage for Android, iOS and Desktop versions. Reiterating what was said in earlier reports, the latest report said that many aspects of multiple device features such as chat history syncing and muting chat on multiple devices are still not ready. Apart from this, WhatsApp says that it is being planned to introduce the new Modern UI for desktop clients.

This information is given in the report of WABetaInfo. Tracker has discovered this feature by investigating in the WhatsApp beta version. Reportedly, the much awaited multi-device feature of the instant messaging app is at the final stage of testing for Android, iOS and desktop versions. This feature allows users to run the same WhatsApp account in four different devices at the same time. In the latest post, the publication has also informed about the internet rumor of the feature. Repeating the old report, the new report also states that even if the multiple device feature is not ready yet, the ability to sync chats, other features such as muting chat can be introduced soon for beta testers.

WhatsApp says that they are planning to introduce the new Modern UI for desktop clients soon. The publication has shared a screenshot where the WhatsApp desktop client shows how the chat history has been migrated from the user device to the computer. It also states that this process is encrypted end-to-end. There is speculation that this feature will be offered as linked devices, which will allow users to run one WhatsApp account on four devices at the same time.

In an earlier report, WABetaInfo claimed that WhatsApp would require a Wi-Fi connection for the multiple device support process. Which will help in transferring the data from one device to another. After sharing the data, the primary device will not require internet and Wi-Fi. This step is of great importance, as currently an active internet connection is required on the primary mobile device to continue using WhatsApp web.
