Vi also free Rs 49 plan, double talk time will be available in Rs 79 plan

Like Airtel, Vi has also made two special offers to provide some relief to its low-income customers during the corona virus epidemic. One of these offers is a free-of-cost recharge of Rs 49, which is a one-time offer only. In this plan, Vi customers get talk time of Rs 38, 300MB data and validity up to 28 days. In this plan, local / national calls are charged at Rs 0.25 per second. Vi also offers an app and web recharge exclusive offer, in which customers are provided extra 200MB of data on this plan.

Vi has stated in its press release that the Rs 49 plan will be made available to 60 million low-income customers, which will provide benefits of Rs 294 crore to these low-income groups. The company said “With these offers, Vi will help its customers to stay safely connected and able to access all the necessary information in this challenging time.”

As we mentioned, the telecom company has also introduced a new combo voucher RC79 for its low-income customers, which offers double talk time for freeing the Rs 49 recharge plan. The Rs 79 recharge in this combo voucher includes talk time of Rs 64, 200MB data and validity of 28 days. At the same time, now this plan will come with talk time of 128 rupees, although the rest will remain in the benefit plan as before. The Vi app and website are providing 200MB extra data via recharge.

It is worth noting that before Vi, Airtel had also made a free Rs 49 plan for its 55 million low-income customers. Apart from this, the company has also introduced double benefits in the plan of Rs 79.
