Vodafone Idea (Vi) is getting a daily health insurance of up to 2 thousand rupees on the recharge plan of Rs 51, 301

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has partnered with Aditya Birla Health Insurance, under which the company has launched an SMS of Rs 51 and a combo prepaid recharge pack of Rs 301. With both these recharge plans, the company is providing health insurance benefits to the users. Both these packs have a hospitalization cost cover of Rs 1,000 per day on medical exigencies including COVID-19 for up to 10 days. While ICU expenses will be covered up to Rs 2,000. This insurance benefit is available to people between the ages of 18 to 55 years. However, while the Rs. 51 prepaid recharge pack is available as an add-on pack with the existing plan, the Rs. 301 recharge pack is a standalone prepaid plan.

The name of this plan is ‘Vi Hospicare’. This Vi prepaid pack of Rs 51 and Rs 301 comes with the same Health Insurance Benefit. In both these packs, users get a Hospitalization Expense cover of up to 1000 rupees per day, which is available for only 10 days. This benefit is also included in the pack of Rs 2,000 and ICU treatment is available, which is increased up to 28 days on continuous recharge.

The health insurance offered by Aditya Birla Health Insurance has been claimed to apply to all major hospitals, including government hospitals as well as private allopathy and Ayush Hospital. The telecom operator said that Vi customers can claim benefits by showing a scan copy of their discharge certificate.

In addition to health insurance, 500 SMS messages are available for up to 28 days in a Vi prepaid recharge pack of Rs 51. At the same time, in the Vi prepaid recharge pack of Rs 301, 1.5 GB daily data along with 2 GB additional data and unlimited calling benefits are available. The validity of recharge packs of Rs 51 and Rs 301 is up to 28 days only.

This insurance benefit is available to people between 18 and 55 years old.
