Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone will be launched on December 28, these things can be good

The launch date of Xiaomi Mi 11 has been revealed. The next generation Xiaomi flagship is launching on Monday, 28 December. Xiaomi revealed this through a post on Weibo on Tuesday. The upcoming smartphone has already been confirmed to come with the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Some key specifications of the Mi series phones have already been merged in the rumors. Apart from this, Mi 11 is also listed on Geekbench. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of Mi 11 Pro coming with Mi 11. Both phones are also reported to have similar design, including curved display and glass back.

Xiaomi Mi 11 launch details

According to the official Weibo post, Xiaomi Mi 11 will be launched in China on December 28 at 7:30 CST Asia (5 pm in India). The company has not yet confirmed whether the Mi 11 Pro will be launched alongside the regular Mi 11. Global launch of m11 is yet to be announced.

Xiaomi Mi 11 price (expected)

The price of Xiaomi Mi 11 will also be announced at the time of launch next week. However, a recent report claimed that the price of the phone in China could be between 3,999 Chinese Yuan and 4,499 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 45,100 and Rs 50,700). That report also suggested that the Mi 11 Pro would be launched in China for between 5,299 Chinese Yuan and 5,499 Chinese Yuan (around Rs 60,000 and Rs 62,000).

Earlier this month at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2020, CEO Lei Jun announced the Xiaomi Mi 11 as the company’s first phone to come with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Other information about the new phone has not been officially revealed yet. Nevertheless, according to rumors, the phone will have a 6-inch QHD + AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also rumored to come with triple rear cameras, which will feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5-megapixel telephoto shooter.

The new listing was spotted on the benchmark site Geekbench with a model number Xiaomi M2011K2C. This model number was reportedly associated with the Redmi K40, although it was also briefly associated with the Mi 11. The listing revealed that the phone will run on Android 11 and will come with 12 GB RAM.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is expected to retain the hole-punch display design like the Mi 10 series. You can also expect curved displays and thin bezels, as suggested by the leaked screen protector earlier this week.

Xiaomi is also rumored to include a 2,390mAh battery with 55W charging support in Mi 11. The phone is likely to come with a charger with fast charging support.
