Xiaomi users will get two months extra warranty, know why?

Xiaomi has decided to extend the warranty of its devices by two months. Devices whose warranty expires in the months of May and June have been given an enhanced warranty of two months. The company gave this information through a tweet. This step has been taken by the company to reduce the hassle of people due to Kovid-19. In such a situation people are not able to get out of the house. Xiaomi is the latest company to increase the warranty on devices. Earlier Poco and Vivo had extended the warranty on their devices. The company has said that customers can book appointments for after sales service through the website.

According to the tweet, the devices of Xiaomi that are going out of their warranty period in May or June have been given an extended warranty of two months. With this, customers will be able to get their device serviced by the month of August. The tweet does not say anything just for smartphones but for all Xiaomi devices. This includes many products from the company’s earphones, speakers, accessories and more. However, the company has not confirmed this statement on its own behalf.

Last week, both Poco and Vivo had announced to increase the warranty for their devices. Like its parent company Xiaomi, Poco also gave a two-month enhanced warranty on the smartphone, whose warranty was scheduled to expire in May and June. At the same time, Vivo extended it for only 30 days. This offer was only for customers who were staying in the lockdown area and could not come out of their homes. In addition, Vivo had also announced that in view of the current conditions of the state, the company will also provide free pick up and drop of the phone from the customer’s home.

Smartphone maker companies are helping their customers in this phase of lockdown so that they can get the facility right from home and do not have to come out of their homes to get the phone or their other devices serviced or repaired. It is to be noted here that no change has been made in the terms and conditions of the warranty.
