The launch of Mijia Smart Rice Cooker 3L was announced by the company through its Weibo account. The smart cooker, which was launched on Wednesday, is currently listed under crowdfunding for 449 Yuan (approximately Rs 5,200). After the crowdfunding is completed, the company will reduce its retail price to 499 Yuan (about Rs 5,800). It can be purchased from Xiaomi’s crowdfunding website Xiaomiyoupin.
Talking about the features, the Mijia Smart Rice Cooker 3L comes with a simple yet attractive design. There are more than one color option to choose from, such as white and black. An OLED display has been given at the top, which shows the relevant information to the user. Apart from this, many buttons have been given on the top itself, which are used for mode, temperature, timer etc. There is an NFC sensor near the display. Through this, the user can pair and control the cooker with the phone.
The new Smart Rice Cooker comes with IH surround heating technology and spherical pressure accumulating valve, which helps in making the rice softer and sweeter. Gizmochina reports that it also gets a 3mm thick base material liner and a new-generation Daikin PFA powder non-stick coating on the surface.
As we mentioned, with the help of NFC, the user can directly pair his phone or other supported device with the cooker and control it from the phone. It can also be controlled using a smart speaker equipped with Xiaomi’s own XiaoAI voice assistant.
