Motorola Edge 30 Neo with 8GB RAM, Octa-Core Snapdragon SoC Surfaces on Geekbench


The Motorola Edge 30 Pro launch in February by Motorola marked the start of the Edge 30 lineup this year. Since then, the company has also unveiled the Motorola Edge 30. Illinois-based tech company Motorola is also expected to launch the Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion. However, in the latest update, it appears that the company is working on another Edge 30 series smartphone – Motorola Edge 30 Neo. This smartphone has made its place in the Geekbench database. Not much is known about specifications or availability, however, the handset is expected to launch soon.

Motorola Edge 30 Neo revealed geekbench database on Thursday. The alleged listing mentions that the handset runs on Android 12. The listed Motorola handsets have 8GB of RAM and the smartphone can be expected to offer more memory options.

The handset is powered by a 2.21GHz octa-core chipset, which could be either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC or the Snapdragon 750G SoC. Motorola Edge 30 Neo has a single-core score of 664 points and a multi-core score of 1,848 points. Motorola has not yet officially given any information about this handset.

The smartphone appears to be an affordable variant of the Motorola Edge 30 that was launched in India earlier this year in May. 27,999. The Edge 30 is powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC paired with Adreno 642L GPU. As per the previous report, it scored 821 in the single-core test and 2,353 in the multi-core test.

In related news, Motorola Edge 30 Fusion was recently spotted on the website of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). It is speculated to be a rebranded version of the Motorola S30 Pro, which is expected to arrive in China soon. As per a recent report, Motorola S30 Pro with model number XT2243-2 has appeared on the Geekbench database. Powered by a 3GHz octa-core SoC, the smartphone reportedly scored 1,179 points in the multi-core test and a single-core score of 3,638 points.
