Vivo X Fold+ 5G Specifications, Features Teased by Company Executive;  May be launched on 26 September

Vivo X Fold + 5G specifications and launch date have been revealed and some of its features have been teased by a company executive. The smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a better hinge than the Vivo X Fold launched earlier this year, a camera co-developed by Zeiss and Vivo, and a 4,730mAh battery with 80W Wired Charging. Previous reports have also talked about Qualcomm flagship chipset, Zeiss camera and 120Hz display.

The first set of information comes from Vivo’s vice president Jia Jingdong, who deployment of On Weibo, the Vivo X Fold+ 5G foldable smartphone will come with both internal and external screens with 120Hz refresh rate, ultrasonic screen fingerprint sensor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Another Weibo User claims That the phone will also have a blue color option and has shared a screenshot which suggests that the Vivo X Fold + 5G will be available for pre-booking from September 21 and will be launched on September 26. Apart from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a strong hinge, Zeiss co-developed cameras and a red color option, Geskin says the phone’s display has received 19 DisplayMate A+ certification. The cameras are said to get a Zeiss T* coating to optimize light efficiency. The headset is said to pack a 4,730mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

This is not the first time that the alleged specifications of the phone have been leaked. Some information was earlier shared by tipster Mukul Sharma. They claimed that the Vivo X Fold+ 5G will have an alert slider, a center-aligned hole-punch cutout on the inner screen, and another on the outer display.
