WhatsApp Business Trial Advanced Search Filters for Easy Search


WhatsApp Business is testing an update that allows users to filter their searches and more easily find people in their contact lists and messages sent by other people. Advanced search filters will help businesses see all unread messages on the app at once. In addition to the new business-focused change, WhatsApp is rolling out a group when you’ll create a community. This group can allow community administrators to share messages with their communities.

according to a report good WhatsApp Beta Tracker by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out a new beta version of WhatsApp Business for both Android and iOS, which brings three different search filters, namely contact, non-contact and unread.

These filters will help WhatsApp Business users quickly see messages received from their contacts, unknown numbers, or unread messages in one go. Users can also add various statuses, including searching for chats where their contacts have sent a photo or video.

WABetaInfo has shared a screenshot to give an idea about the update. Screenshot taken from WhatsApp Business for Android. However, the source added that the same feature has been rolled out for beta testers on WhatsApp Business for iOS.

Similar to enhanced search for WhatsApp Business users, WhatsApp was recently seen testing the ability to filter business searches near you with filters including restaurants, grocery stores, apparel and clothing.

Additionally, WABetaInfo has found it WhatsApp can create a group when users create a community. It is estimated that community admins can send messages to all groups associated with their community. The particular group can also have read-only access for everyone except the group administrators.

Last month, WhatsApp was seen working on a feature that connects groups to a community. The change was visible for both iOS and Android users, although it is yet to be made publicly available. In fact, WhatsApp hasn’t confirmed yet when we can actually see communities on its platform.
