Rocket League Sideswipe, the mobile version of the popular console and PC game, has been released for Android and iOS. Developer Psyonix has made the game available to mobile users worldwide, expanding its audience through the new platform. Rocket League SideSwipe’s coming to mobile was announced earlier in March, and the company was busy building the game ‘Ground Up’ for mobile users. There are some notable changes between 1v1 and 2v2 matches like mobile games and PC games. Matches last only two minutes on Rocket League Sideswipe Mobile.
The company took to Twitter announcement of Rollout of Rocket League Sideswipe for Android and iOS users worldwide. The game is free to play and available to download google play store and apple app Store, The car soccer game has been re-imagined for mobile devices. It comes with intuitive touch controls, and a boost button to help players go faster or lift the ball into the air to hit it.
For now, the Rocket League Sideswipe mobile game is in pre-season, but Psyonix says Season 1 will be announced soon. Rocket League Sideswipe has 1v1 and 2v2 matches that will last 2 minutes and can be played online. This is in contrast to the PC and console version in which each team consists of 4 players. The PC version also has a 3D arena that gives players more freedom to move around, but Rocket League Sideswipe for mobile is more linear with goals on the left and right of the screen.
Rocket League Sideswipe also offers thousands of customizable combinations with items like cars, wheels, decals, and more. Players can also communicate with each other with quick chat stickers. The game has different modes including a hoops mode. There is also Rocket Pass which can be unlocked by playing online matches. The game also has a competitive mode that helps players earn titles based on their rank in each season.
