13 Reasons Why It’s Dark, TV Shows To Watch In June

Except that November 4, 2019 – is where the show began – in this edition of the fictional German city of Winden. This is intentional, because it allows dark Season 3 parallels Season 1. Martha Jonas has a yellow jacket, and she and her family live in the Kahnwald home. Instead of Jonas’ mother Hannah (Maja Shawn) and Martha’s father Ulrich (Oliver Masucci), it is Ulrich’s son Magnus (Moritz Jahn) and Franziska Doppler (Gina Elise Steibitz) secretly having sex. Franziska’s mother Charlotte (Caroline Eichhorn) isn’t the police chief, it’s Ulrich. While some things are different, some are similar, due to the nature of the individual.

Speaking of, the few survivors of the apocalypse have been scattered throughout dark Season 3, with some of them in an as yet unseen time period.

This leaves Adam (Dietrich Hollanderbaumer) – the leader of the secret society of time travellers, Sik Mundus – who continues to pursue “its origins” in hopes of destroying it and putting everything to rest. (A dialogue from The Matrix still serves as a direct inspiration, and joins Avengers: Infinity War at a pivotal moment.) Finally, dark Season 3 follows on Adam’s claim that, in the face of all previous evidence, the Netflix series opts for a solution that largely simplifies its multiverse. For a series that thrives in its complexity, this is disappointing. Its endgame choice also detracts somewhat from the resolution of its characters and the lives they live; There is something beautiful about the human sense of perseverance, especially in the face of dire odds.
