BSNL launched Rs.  147 prepaid recharge plan, extends the validity of Rs.  247, Rs.  1,999 plans

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched Rs. 147 prepaid recharge plans with a validity of 30 days to mark the 74th Independence Day of India. The state-owned operator has also extended the validity of Rs. 247 and Rs. 1,999 prepaid plan and Eros Now subscription bundled with select plans. Additionally, BSNL has withdrawn Rs. 78, Rs. 551, Rs. 249, and Rs. 447 prepaid recharge plan. The operator has also discontinued Rs. 144, Rs. 792, and Rs. 1,584 Patanjali prepaid plan.

according to a circular Posted by BSNL Chennai Division, Rs. 147 prepaid recharge plan brings unlimited local and STD voice calls with a fair usage policy (FUP) limit of 250 minutes. Calling benefits also include voice calls on MTNL network. This plan brings a total of 10GB of high-speed data as well as BSNL tunes along with a validity of 30 days.

Customers can recharge from Rs. 147 BSNL Prepaid Plan STV COMBO147 by sending an SMS message to 123. The plan can also be activated through BSNL site or channel top-up.

With the launch of Rs. 147 prepaid plan, BSNL has extended the validity of Rs. 247 and Rs. 1,999 recharge plan with additional six and 74 days respectively. The new development is available under a promotional offer that is in effect until August 31. This brings the total validity of Rs. 247 plan for 36 days, while Rs. 1,999 plan is available with a validity of 439 days.

Apart from the new additions, BSNL has withdrawn Rs. 144, Rs. 792, and Rs. 1,584 Patanjali prepaid plans as well as Rs. 551, Rs. 349, Rs. 447, and Eros Now Rs. 78 plans. The revision has taken place in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles as per Information Published on BSNL Chennai site.
