BSNL revises 7 broadband plans, increases landline tariff for 10 plans

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised its seven broadband plans, with an increase in monthly rentals by up to Rs. 30. The new amendment will be applicable on pan-India basis in all telecom circles where the state-owned operator provides its services with effect from Saturday, August 1. BSNL is also notifying its existing broadband users about the update. Along with the changes regarding its broadband plans, the operator has also increased its fixed landline plans for both new and existing customers.

Both the broadband and landline plans were revised by the operator initially reported By Telecom Talk.

As per the tariff revision, the 2GB BSNL CUL plan that is available at a monthly fee of Rs. 349 will be available for Rs. 369. This plan offers 2GB data allocation for speeds up to 8Mbps along with unlimited voice calling on BSNL network and Rs. 600 worth of talk time to other networks. It also offers benefits including unlimited calls on Sundays along with free calling between 10:30 pm and 6 am.

The second plan that has been revised by BSNL is the 2GB CUL, which has been increased from Rs. 399 to Rs. 419. It offers 2GB high-speed data just like 2GB BSNL CUL. However, there is also unlimited voice calling support on all networks in the country. BSNL has also increased the monthly rental of the 3GB CUL plan from Rs. 499 to Rs. 519. It has unlimited voice calling benefits along with 3GB high-speed data quota.

Also, the 4GB CUL plan which is currently available at Rs. Available in. 599 has been revised to Rs. 629. It comes with 4GB data allocation for speeds up to 10Mbps. Unlimited voice calling is also available in this plan.

BSNL has also changed the monthly rental of the 5GB CUL broadband plan from Rs. 699 to Rs. 729. It comes with 10Mbps speed and unlimited voice calls up to 125GB. Similarly, the Superstar 300 plan that was launched with Hotstar subscription last year has been revised to Rs. 779 to 749. This plan offers 10Mbps speed up to 300GB and has unlimited voice calling.

The latest revision’s final plan is 15GB CUL which is available only for existing BSNL customers with 15GB high-speed data per day. This has been revised from the monthly rent of Rs. 999 to Rs. 1,029.

Apart from the revision of its broadband plans, BSNL has revised its 10 landline plans starting from Rs. 129 and going up to Rs. 495. The increased prices are applicable from Saturday.
