Instagram suspends Kanye West’s account for 24 hours over racial abuse against Trevor Noah

Rapper Kanye West will not be able to post anything on Instagram for 24 hours. According to Variety, Kanye has been suspended from the social media application for a day for violating the platform’s harassment policy.

A spokesperson for Meta said the platform has removed content posted by Kanye for “violating their policies on hate speech, bullying and harassment.”

Now, he cannot post, comment and send DMs for a period of 24 hours.

A day earlier, Kanye directed a racial slur at “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah via an Instagram post after Noah lashed out at West, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and their boyfriend, “Saturday Night Live” comedian Pete. Discussed the ongoing feud between Davidson. their show tuesday night

Not only that, West has frequently used the medium to discuss his custody problems, posting multiple videos alleging that Kardashian is preventing him from seeing his kids when he wants to.
