Stephen Colbert Sees Trump Acolyte Kari Lake’s Most Shocking Electoral Claim

Stephen Colbert saw a really strange moment in a speech given by Kari Lake, conspiracy theorist and Republican candidate for governor in Arizona, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

Lake announced fraud earlier on Tuesday even before the vote, Lake then claimed victory in the strangest way possible: he said that barely any votes had been counted, yet he had won seven out of every 10 elections.

“That’s massive! And those votes just haven’t counted. There’s no way for my opponent to win, and we won this race, period,” she said.

“I’m sorry, what? What’s up?” Colbert asked, then tried to summarize: “She said the votes were barely counted. Then she said she was winning seven out of 10. Then he said that the votes were not yet counted. Then she said she won.”

He then showed how this argument could play out in Wednesday night’s monologue during the Super Bowl:
