Military violinist in Ukraine stirs comrades by playing Billie Eilish’s “Lovely”

The Internet was struck by Mr Bondarenko’s efforts

Amid the war, Moisey Bondarenko, a professional musician serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has taken on the responsibility of keeping the spirits of his comrades high by playing a beautiful tune. A Reddit user named migoodenuff posted a short clip to his account, which shows a soldier performing a beautiful version of American singer Billie Eilish’s Lovely on the Violin.

In the video, a large group of soldiers can be seen sitting on the ground, listening to music played by violinist Bondarenko. A heart-wrenching video is spreading smiles across the internet and praising Mr Bondarenko’s effort to keep allies distracted from the Russo-Ukraine war.

The video was posted on September 16 and has garnered 99,000 upvotes and 68 comments so far.
