In great embarrassment, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s failed attempt to put on headphones made Russian President Vladimir Putin laugh during their meeting yesterday on the sidelines of a regional summit in Uzbekistan.
This crime minister is a constant shame for Pakistan. Even President Putin eventually had to laugh at this clumsy man. pathetic. Is this what the conspirators wanted? For a politician who would not only be a badass but also a pitiful apology for a PM? pic.twitter.com/mmEhLY7RZg

Equipment was seen falling from Mr Sharif’s ear during talks in Samarkand, where the 22nd summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is underway. This triggered a final and audible laugh from Putin as he waited for the Prime Minister of Pakistan to fix his headphones.
Mr Sharif faced criticism on social media with activists of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party claiming that the incident was a major embarrassment to the country internationally.
This is the first in-person summit of the SCO in two years, which has allayed the fears of Kovid. It is being attended by leaders of eight member countries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi who reached Samarkand last night.
