WhatsApp Easy and better feature to change number launched in India
Let us tell you that the company has added a new feature in WhatsApp's Android beta update i.e. version 2.18.97. WABetaInfo, which was the first to break the big and small news related to WhatsApp, has said on Twitter that the company has made very important changes in the feature related to changing the number on the app. Now if a user changes his number on WhatsApp, he will not have to worry. When you change the number, the app will allow you to send this information to all or selected contacts. Not only this, after changing the number, all the chats of the old number will be available back on the new number. Let us tell you that at present there are 1.5 billion active monthly users of WhatsApp in the world, who send and receive about 60 billion messages every day. In India too, the number of WhatsApp users is quite high i.e. around 2 crores.

Facility to send auto notification when number is changed
Till now, if any user changed his number on WhatsApp, the chats on his old number would also disappear to a great extent, or he would have to face the problem of duplicate chats. Now in the upcoming version of WhatsApp, as soon as you try to change the number, you will get a new notification option in the app. With this, you can send auto notification to all your WhatsApp contacts or some selected people telling them that this is your new WhatsApp number and please contact them on this number in future. Apart from this, as soon as your new number is activated on WhatsApp, all the chats of the old number will start appearing in the app of the new number.

This is the new way to change number on WhatsApp
First of all, go to WhatsApp's settings and tap on Account. Here you will get the option of change number, which was never there before. In this option, old and new numbers will have to be fed at the designated place. After this the app will ask you whether you want to send this information about the change in number to all your contacts or only to selected people. Here you can send notification of number change to your contacts. After this, as soon as WhatsApp is activated with the new number, the old chats related to the contacts with the selected number will automatically return to the chat box. Also, a bubble will appear in the chat box, so that you can know whether your number has been changed successfully and which is the old chat.
