News has come out regarding the OTT release of Shahrukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu's film Dunky. According to the report of The Siasat Daily, the digital rights of this film have not been bought by Netflix, but by Jio Cinema. It has also been claimed in the report that the digital rights of 'Dinky' have been bought by Jio Cinema for Rs 155 crores.

Earlier, Netflix had also bought the OTT rights of Shahrukh Khan's film Jawan. In such a situation, a new competition has started with the digital rights of Donkey going to Jio Cinema.

Dunki will defeat Jawan-Pathan too

Jawan's director Atlee said that Donkey will earn more than Jawan and Pathan. He said that it is a good system that we improve with every next film. He said that he also wants to surpass Jawan with his next film.

Praising Shahrukh Khan, Atlee said that he does not think anyone in the world will have the record of releasing three Rs 1000 crore films in a single year. He wished Shahrukh Khan all the best for the times to come.

Both satellite and digital rights of Shahrukh Khan's film Donkey have been sold for Rs 230 crore. However, no official information has been given yet regarding OTT rights.

Donkey is a comedy-action film directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, Dharmendra, Satish Shah and Parikshit Sahani in important roles. The film will be released in theaters on 23 December 2023.
