Honda MotorCorp India has discontinued the production of Honda CBR 250R in India. This bike is now discontinued in India. Honda CBR 250R which came as a sport bike with a single cylinder 249 cc fuel injector engine. But for some reason the company simply removed it from the Indian market. But news is coming that in view of the increasing popularity of sport bikes in the Indian market and the launch of new sport bikes, the company is planning to launch it again with an update.

Honda MotorCorp has many products in the bike segment. But there is a shortage of production of 250 cc bikes in their segment. Which Honda is going to fill this vacant space by launching Honda CBR 250R. Honda has recently launched its product Honda Hornet 2.0 in the Indian market with an update. After this, now keep an eye on Honda CBI 250. You may see big changes in its style. In this you can get an attractive visual LED hand lamp and changes in the rest of the motorcycle parts as well.

Talking about the features available in Honda CBR 250R, you get a fully digital instrument cluster which is already present but with the upgrade in it, now you get speedometer, tachometer, trip meter, gear position, fuel gauge, service indicator, stand alert, Apart from helmet alert, over speed alert, clock to see the time, turn indicator, it will get modern features like smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, call alert, SMS alert, email notification and smart assist navigation system.

You can also make some changes in the engine of Honda CBR 250R. In this you are likely to get 250 cc dual cylinder liquid cooled and air cooled engine. Which generates power of 26bhp and peak torque of 23nm. It is mated to a 6 speed gear box. Apart from this, you are likely to use hardware like quick shift gear and anti-locking braking system.

The hardware and braking system of the Honda CBR 250R is handled by telescopic front forks and swingarm-mounted rear monoshock. In which 296mm disc brake is going to be introduced at the front and 220mm disc brake at the rear.

According to information received from sources about Honda CBR 250R, it is likely to be available with one variant and two color options. Talking about its price, it is expected to be launched in the Indian market starting from Rs 1.90 lakh to Rs 2.10 lakh ex-showroom.

After launch, Honda CBR will compete with TVS Apache RR310 in the Indian market. KTM RC200Yamaha Fazer 25 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
