Kanpur. A big news has come out for the users using Airtel and Jio SIM in Nokia smartphones. Actually, Airtel and Jio users can now avail the benefits of Wi-Fi calling in some selected Nokia smartphones. The company has given this information. Let us tell you that both the telecom operators had announced the availability of Wi-Fi calling a few weeks ago, although at that time Nokia smartphones did not support this feature. It is known that the Wi-Fi calling feature allows users to make calls directly from their smartphone to another mobile or landline through a Wi-Fi network and without the use of any third party app.

This feature will improve network coverage

Let us tell you that the Wi-Fi calling feature comes in handy when you are living in an apartment or at your office desk and you do not get a cellular signal to make or receive calls. The specialty of this feature is that any call passes through especially Wi-Fi calling. Additionally, as soon as users move from Wi-Fi to non-Wi-Fi location, the call is immediately transferred to their telecom network. This feature will further improve network coverage and quality issues at home. Interestingly, users can make Vo Wi-Fi calls even to people who do not have the feature enabled on their phones. However, the thing to keep in mind here is that Wi-Fi calling is not a way to make free calls but it is a way by which you can improve the call quality.
