The Tata Altroz ​​Racing Edition gets a number of cosmetic changes, including a revised front profile with a sharper line on the hood. It is going to get a Racing Edition batch with twin white racing stripes on the blacked out roof and front fender above the bonnet. While at the rear too, it is going to feature a more pronounced rear wiper along with a shark fin antenna.

Apart from this, the main change where chrome elements were used on the front, now the use of completely black elements is seen in the Racer Edition. Apart from this, the company has also given blackout treatment to its headlights. Apart from all this, the design of alloy wheels is also similar to the current Altroz, although the company has now given it a black finish. Tata Altroz ​​is among the safest premium hatchbacks in the Indian market. Safety features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, real parking camera, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, isofixed child seat anchors are available.

The main change under the bonnet is that it is going to be powered with an eTurbo petrol engine. 1.2 liter three cylinder turbocharged engine which generates power of 120 bhp and torque of 170 Nm. This engine option generates more power than its rival Hyundai i20 N Line. With this, the hatchback here becomes the most powerful and premium hatchback in the segment. Apart from this, it is going to be offered with six speed manual gear box instead of 5 speed manual gear box.

There has been no confirmation yet whether it will be offered with a six-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.

Tata Motors Tata has not yet given any information about the Tata Altroz ​​Racer Edition launch timeline. However it is expected to launch sometime in 2024. Whereas its price is also going to be premium than the price of the current model.

After launch, Altroz ​​Racer Edition is going to compete directly with Hyundai i20 online. Whereas its normal variant competes with vehicles like Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza in the Indian market.
